1. Tell me something about your life and the educational background.
Im an artist, visual artist. Now I am doing a master in UK in art and technology.
The most interesting experience I worked was in 2007 at Interactivos? Workshop in Media Lab Madrid. It was a hybrid between a workshop, an exhibition, and a seminar. The place selected 12 projects to be developed in 2 weeks with collaborators of all areas and the resources used were free software as Arduino, PureData, OpenFrameworks and so on.
I was selected to developed my project called Controlled Dream Machine which was an installation that uses distributed patterns of neural activity to stimulate the symptoms between a robot legs body in its dreaming process; the dreams are expressed by animations projected in front of the robot legs.
Before the workshop I had been developing the project in about 10 months at University of Plymouth as part of my master thesis in art and technology; I was doing the animations and preparing the mechanical parts of it.
The experience was amazing because all the artists and collaborators were doing amazing art pieces in an environment that I could see the process of creation of everybody and I could get help from 3 very professionals artists such as Zach Lieberman, Simone Jones and Daniel Canogar. We got opinions from everybody and discussed a lot each work conceptually.
2. When, how and why started you filming?
I started doing animations at the beginning of undergraduate in visual arts in Brazil. I always loved to draw and I got fascinate with the idea of animations where drawings has a real life. Afterwards I started studying the softwares for animation and I am still doing that.

I think video art is yet an experimental way of creating, but it is on market for long time now.
7. How do you finance your films?
Sometimes I got scholarship, grants, but mostly by myself.
8. Do you work individually as a video artist/film maker or do you work in a team?
I generally I work alone, but the last movie I made, my friend Theo Firmo did the music.
if you have experience in both, what is the difference, what do you prefer?
I prefer working in a team, especially with musicians, I like to do the animations by my own, but not the music.
9. Who or what has a lasting influence on your film/video making?
Michel Gondry for me is the genius of the century.
