1. Tell me something about your life and the educational background
I was born in the city of Granada, Spain.
From small and had a strong interest in art and need to express any plastic medium. I started working in workshops by local artists was very young. In them I learned the various techniques of painting and media reproduction. I attended the school of arts to expand knowledge and I later graduated in Geography and Stories, specializing in Art at the University of Granada.

2. When, how and why started you filming?
The painting was for many years my medium of expression but it was not enough. In the mid 2000s I began to use photography and video. And it was in the video where I found the perfect medium to work and express myself. Although, in my projects, I would not rule any other plastic medium help me its development

3. What kinds of topics have your films?
My work has a lot to do with my own experiences. It is the idea of time, finitude, identity… conceptual themes that dominate my work

4. How do you develop your films, do you follow certain principles, styles etc?

A priori I do not follow concrete and defining principles at work. You could say that in the creative process of my projects follow a series of specific steps for their development, which are basically seeking information and material.

5. Tell me something about the technical equipment you use.
Working with multiple cameras recording, primarily use a Canon 500. And edit with Final Cut

6.
These days digital technology is dominating also video as a medium. In which way the digital aspect is entering the creation of your videos, technologically and/or conceptually?

Conceptually I still have the same iideario The technology allows working with different media and tools. Change the tool and therefore the formal outcome of the work, but does not have to change the artist’s own language

7. How do you finance your films?
Myself I finance my films

8. Do you work individually as a video artist/film maker or do you work in a team?
if you have experience in both, what is the difference, what do you prefer?

I have my individual projects and collaborative projects.
In team projects, different visions come together. What is very rewarding. For me it is very interesting to collaborate with other artists because it gives me the opportunity to work with different perspectives and approaches. This does not mean it easier to work together. There needs to be a clear conceptual knowledge so that a project can be carried out successfully

9. Who or what has a lasting influence on your film/video making?
I am passionate about movies and reading. I’ve seen a lot of films over time, so as I have seen a lot of art. And I have my favourite directors and artists but could not say what my influences clearly. I think that is the sum of everything learned through the experience. Consciously I can not say what my influences, but I think I have influences of painting and art Spanish Baroque, namely the Baroque given in Andalucia.

10. What are your future plans or dreams as a film/video maker?
My dream is to continue working and learning
