    Interview: 10 questions

    1. Tell me something about your life and the educational background
I am currently studying Art in Perth, Western Australia, I have studied some Graphic Design and Photography in conjunction with my Art studies.

    2. When, how and why started you filming?
I started about 2 years ago as a process of documentation that was more comprehensive than taking still images.

3.What kind of subjects have your films?
    Performance, new media, stimuli.

    4. How do you develop your films, do you follow certain principles, styles etc?
    I try not to.

    5. Tell me something about the technical equipment you use.
I use a canon 400D for digital stills, and EOS 650 or FTb for film stills. For computers I work with both Macintosh and PC and I am always experimenting with my Wacom tablet. In addition I am fond of screen captures and webcams.

    6. What are the chances of new media for the genre film/video in general and you personally?
The chances are still being calculated, I think.

    7. How do you finance your films?
    With very little budget.

    8. Do you work individually as a video artist/film maker or do you work in a team? if you have experience in both, what is the difference, what do you prefer?
At the moment I work alone, having never worked with a film crew of more than 3 at a time so I could only say that logistically, a team is more difficult to organise.

    9. Who or what has a lasting influence on your film/video making?
Karen Yasinsky, Mitch Schauer, Peter Chung, Marvin Minsky, information systems and corporate philosophy.

    10. What are your future plans or dreams as a film/video maker?
To continue to produce work and have some experience with new technologies as they become improved and more available.
